Dr. Vijayabhaskar Reddy K, is an Associate Professor at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA. He is also a consulting Physician and practices Internal Medicine in Salt Lake City, USA. He is one of the founders of JeevaRaksha Trust. He is also specialized in Clinical Informatics (Health Information Technology).  Dr. Reddy is an expert in training systems strengthening and has more than two decades of experience both in India and African continent.

Dr. Reddy, along with Dr. Peter Taillac and Dr. Balu MA, conceived, designed, developed and implemented the JeevaRaksha Emergency Care and Life Support (ECLS) curriculum which was first implemented in India. Dr Reddy has conducted The ECLS training internationally (Uzbekistan and Morocco). 

Dr. Reddy is an expert in adult learning methodologies, systems strengthening and institutionalizing capacity building/training and mentoring to ensure consistent and high quality training for health care providers. He is also an expert in Quality Improvement in Health Care Settings. He is a specialist in HIV/AIDS and was active in treatment and clinical research in Los Angeles (2002-2005). Later, he worked for a reputed international Non-profit Engender Health (2005-2008) in India as Director of HIV/AIDS Care Treatment. He has also provided technical support to design RGUHS affiliated Fellowship in HIV Medicine Program for Medical and Dental Professionals (RGUHS, Karnataka).
